We did the usual unpacking and setting up off the caravan and we found out that there was a pool, jumping pillow, park and a place where you can let your dog off the leash.
On Monday we went to the Dubbo Zoo, we got a map and a sheet with the zoo talks. The first zoo talk was about the black rhino, it had a baby cub and they had lot's of space to run around. The zoo had a breeding program and they have bred 9 rhino cubs which is great because some animals are becoming extinct like the Siberian tiger, there is only 40 left in the world!

The cheeters looked fierce and majestic but when it was feeding time they sounded like a kitten, making a pussy cat Meow which was funny. We went to see the hippos, one was called squeaky and the other Arnold, when Squeaky was chewing food, he made a squeaky sound.

We saw the meercats and elephants and then had some lunch while watching the spider monkeys. I spotted a turtle and fed it some of my lunch.
The Old Dubbo Gaol

The first thing that cought my eyes were the big gate at the entrace. it was so creepy and reminded me of Jurassic Park. At the entrance was an information desk and shop, the lady gave us a map and information about the gaol. Noah and I checked the first cell by ourselves, we couldn't go in but inside there was a maniquin dressed like an old man/inmate costume and it started talking and scared the life out of us.

Next room there was a black room, it was pitch black and it was for punishment. So inmates used to pull out the buttons off their shirts and play a game to find them.
The other cells also had people in it and it was lighter, we also went up the watch tower.
Downstairs was a theater and it played a documentary about "nosey" who was a man that was good looking until he got kicked in the face by a horse and lost his nose. He then became an executor at the gaol. On the way out we bought a souvernir coin for our collection.
On tuesday we joined 1st Dubbo scouts. My brother and I learnt about first aid, played some games and they made us feel welcome. They also gave us badges then we left.
We went to the multiculural centre, saw some excibitions about art and naked people and it also an old classroom that mum and dad remember.

We also played Xbox for 10 minutes.
Botanical gardens, when we entered the volunteers gave us fish food and we fed the fish. We looked around the gardens and took a break, sitting down and resting then contiued, saw japanese gardens then we fed the fish again then we left.
