Georgetown - Raf

We got to Georgetown early and Peter and Sharon were there, that was a surprise for me because last time we saw them was in Toowoomba .

On the way to Georgetown we notice a hole in our tyre so Peter helped dad change the tyre. After it was done, Dad took the tyre with the hole to a mechanic, a guy called Eric he helped dad fix the tyre.

In Georgetown there was a public pool so we decided to go. The water was to cold for my liking so I decided to run around the pool instead. When we were all having fun we saw a dog and his name was Obi, we scratched his belly and played with him for a little bit, then we went to the caravan park called Goldfields.

We set up the caravan then a kid came and wanted to play with us so we said yes. We had a lot of fun playing tag and a lot of other games, we ate our dinner and went to sleep. In the morning mum and dad decided to go to the Cobbold Gorge, that sounded so exciting but first we ate our breakfast put shoes on and hats on and got geared to go and drove to the gorge.

Cobbold Gorge

First we went to the infinity pool it was freezing then dad bought some chips for lunch, once we finished we went for our tour. We got to go in a tour bus to the gorge, when we got there we got some walking sticks and hiked to the top of the gorge, then we went back down and we got to go on a boat 🚤 along the gorge, we saw a lot of spiders and went around to come back to the beginning. It was an adventure, we went back to the caravan park and in the morning we left.
