Alfie and the Amazing Black Opal! - Raf

Alfie

I met Alfie just after Pilliga, he told us where to go to get to Lightning Ridge. He also offered to take us around on his day off. Alfie is a kind, tall man who works at a mine looking for black opals. He does not live at the caravan park but his grandson does. His grandson's name is Isaiah.

Isaiah was a boy who became my friend at the caravan park. I played Xbox with him when I went to the bowling club, we played a game that was virtual reality, I had a blast playing with my friend.

The bowling club was a place where everyone got together. It had free wifi, xbox with virtual reality games, the batman game, it had food ( the spring rolls where the best) and it had raffles. Mum and dad won a meat and fruit raffle.

In Lighting Ridge there was an Art Gallery that belong to John Murray. My brother Noah did a paint on John Murray's wall. The painting was of Fin and Jake fist pumping each other.
