Canungra was a small town. Close to the showgrounds which is where we were camping was a river crossing so to get to our caravan we had to drive through the road and water would splash on our face.

After paying for our stay we were off to our camp site, we unpacked then we checked out the place. I was surprised to hear that we could have fires so we asked for a fire pit but at that time every body was using them and we had to wait.

We decided to check out the town as well: it had a park, two pubs, library, and fast food shops. Dad and my brothers went to the library to start the usual routine of homeschooling, that is, blog writing then played roblox. When we finished we had to come back to the showgrounds for dinner, a second later there was dinner so we ate then we went to sleep Zzzzzzzzz.

In the morning mum decided to go to a National Park, Mt Tamborine. There were water falls so we went to explore. There was a sign that said we could swim but it was dangerous so we just watched people swim, some girls tried to slide off a rock but it didn't work, I asked dad if i could dip my feet in water and he said yes, I slipped but got back up luckily I didn't fall in the water. We took photos then we left.

Mum had to go to work in the Gold Coast, so we dropped her off then we went to the beach near by. When we got there, the beach had quite big waves, I grabbed my board then I jumped in and had lots of fun with my brothers. A few hours later it was time to go so we went off to pick up mum.

Back home and guess what? there was a spare fire pit so that night we got fire wood and started a fire, now it was cozy then we relaxed then we had to go to bed.

In the morning mum told us that we could go to Rio's house (our friend from Brisbane) it was an hour to get there but we made it. When we got there we went in Rio's bedroom, we spotted Nerf guns straight away. Rio was all about guns then we started a Nerf war that went on for hours, it felt like weeks before the war ended, then finally it ended then we had lunch then we went back home to our caravan.

It was time to leave the showgrounds but on that last week it was ANZAC day and there was an ANZAC service.

We attended and met the Canungra scouts and they offered their den for us to camp in, our homebase. We went there and the scouts hall had showers, there was so much room, 7acres! it was so much room we let the dogs off their leash so they could play.

We went to Scouts parade on Wednesday , we met a few friends and had a lot of fun.

We took part on their working bee where mum had to still work, we went to the creek with other scouts and played. It was a lot of fun there then we came back to our caravan. When it was time to leave, we packed, said goodbye then we left.
