Rockhampton - Josh

We met Paul through mum, he is Mum's friend from Melbourne. Mum invited Paul to join us on our trip around Australia. Ellie was his dog, she was very fluffy and she was Schnauzer.

Every morning mum and Paul did exercise, one day I decided to join him. We brought our dogs and Paul brought Ellie. Raf ran with mum and Paul but Noah and I played with the dogs.

One day mum decided to take us to the zoo to see the new born chimp. So we went to the zoo, it was not far and guess what? it was free.

When we went in we first saw the birds, there were many in the aviary and you could read about the species and learn about them. We went to the cassowary enclosure. The cassowary looked like an emu but it was wearing a helmet, we only saw one. When we went out of cassowary enclosure we went to see the chimpanzees. They started fighting and making a lot of noise.

We finished off seeing the rest of the animals.

Once we finished the zoo we went to have lunch at a place that had lots of parrots. I fed a grape to a parrot and then all of them swept towards me wanting their fair share.

After lunch we went to the Japanese gardens and there were lots of trees there.

Mum and Dad organized a trip with Paul to Yeppoon. We stopped over at Emu Park first and waited for Paul. While we were waiting Noah spotted an op shop. We went in for a quick look and we bought toy soldiers and toys for Raf. At Yeppoon we went to the beach and started walking, Noah and I caught a crab with using my croc, we showed the crab to the adults then released it to the wild.

When we came back we went to the library, did some work then played some games then left. At the caravan park we packed then we left.
