We arrived at Sunshine Coast where we met with Di and Wayne. We met Di and Wayne at Wee Jasper two months ago and they told us that we could stay at their property for the weekend. When we got there we parked our caravan in their driveway and greeted them. Di told us that we would be sleeping inside her house, it was a shock to know that we were going to sleep in bedrooms. The house was beautiful and she had biscuits, salad and cheese waiting for us for lunch.

The next morning I woke up and it felt different because this time I slept on a proper bed not in the caravan. I walked to the sitting room, grabbed the remote control and watched some TV, minutes flew by and my brothers came to join me. Then Wayne and mum started to make eggs, after breakky we set off exploring the Sunshine Coast.

First we went to Glasshouse Mountain, when we got there we found walking sticks and started walking.

After walking for a few minutes I came across my worst enemy "STAIRS", it took about 20 minutes but for me it felt like it was hours. Once we reached the base of the mountain it was very steep and we tried to climb it but we kept sliding down.

We came across a lady that told us about a goat track and that it was easier. So we followed the track and it was still steep but there were trees and you could hold on to them. We only climbed a little bit then Raf wanted to come down so we all came down.

Next, we went to a town call Maleny or lunch. We walked passed lots of stores and food stores. There were lots of people there but were quick and escaped. We decided that we were going to have a pastry for lunch and crepes for desert.

Raf had sushi instead. There was also a basker and next to where he was singing was a antique shop.

Our next stop was a cheese factory but I didn't go in, I stayed in the park.

Finally, our last stop was a waterfall called Kondalilla.

We walked a few meters and got to a small waterfall and we thought it was it but we were mistaken. We kept walking down and other people were behind us, they were nice and took a photo of us.

It took about an hour to get to the base of the waterfall and it was nearly nightfall so Dad started to worry. Once we got to there we climbed rocks then we took lots of family photos. On the way back we were walking and Dad suddenly stopped, I looked around and saw a carpet python sliding across the path. Dad told me to walk around and I got to see its face.

We got back to Di and Wayne, she made Nachos and lasagnea and it was delicious.

the next morning we said good bye and left. Thank you Di and Wayne
