When we arrived at Karumba we quickly set up because we wanted to have lunch. Our site was at the back of the caravan park called overflow area. After lunch I spotted a dead eagle below the fence, it looked dead and creepy. The caravan park was great because it had a pool and internet at the office.
In the evening we went to a fish and chips shop that was recommended to us, i t was called Ash's fish and chips. I ordered Barramundi and chips, it was amazing. After dinner we walked down to the beach to see the sunset, it was beautiful, lots of colours. After the sunset we went back home and slept.
Next day we went fishing off the beach and guess who we found there, Dez and Darren, they were fishing there too. We had no luck, no bites, nothing, we only caught "fresh air", but as we were coming back to the caravan a guy rocked up and said "good day mate" dad had a chat with this person and after a while he gave us free fish, three in total, each the size of a football. When we went back to the caravan we filleted it and cooked it for lunch. We had a great time in Karumba.

We packed and left to Lawn Hill National Park, but before we could get there we stopped at a free camp called Gregory Downs. It had a river that had a strong current, a swing to jump in a water hole, lots of trees and rocks.

We found a great spot right by the river, if you opened the door you could see the water. The first thing I wanted to do was to jump in the water but the first thing we had to do was set up camp. That evening a big caravan arrived and parked in front of us, inside there was a family of two adults and 4 kids. We met the kids and they were friendly, they jumped in the river with us and we had a great time.
Finally we arrived at Lawn Hill, set up then went exploring and found a river that we could swim in. My brothers and I got changed into our swimming costume and went to the river. The water of the river was green with lily pads and there was a platoon that had tubes, noodles and everything you could ever want. The first thing we did we jumped into a huge tube and tried to squeeze in, after a while we decided to go out.

The following day we went to Lawn Hill Gorge, walked there and it was hot once we reached the gorge it was the best, it was so refreshing, I loved it.
